For transgender individual Yiling, the overwhelming feeling of having no choice and being forced to leave outweighed any external desires. In an attempt to align her gender identity, she was kicked out of her parents' home. Soon after, she faced the COVID-19 lockdown, which significantly worsened her mental state. Before embarking on a risky journey, she called home, pleading with her parents to take her to the hospital, only to receive the response: "Don't come back home." This pushed her to the edge.
